information<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please check the time and lecture room of your presentation in the programme and in the conference app as some last-minute changes might occur.<\/li>\n<li>All presentations must be prepared and delivered<strong>&nbsp;in English<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Unless informed otherwise, all presenters are asked to respect the duration of presentations as follows:&nbsp;<br>\u2013&nbsp;<strong>15&nbsp;<\/strong>min. (including Q&amp;A) for <strong><em>oral presentations and invited speakers in special sessions<\/em><\/strong>,<br>\u2013&nbsp;<strong>20 <\/strong>min. (including Q&amp;A) for <em><strong>keynote lectures<\/strong>,&nbsp;<\/em><br>\u2013&nbsp;<strong>50<\/strong> min. (including Q&amp;A) for&nbsp;<strong><em>plenary lectures<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The chairs are requested to stop the presentation after the allotted time has passed.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Presentations upload:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All presentations (ppt, pptx or pdf formats) <strong>must be uploaded through the Conftool conference platform<\/strong> prior to the conference, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>at the latest by Monday 1st September 2025 &#8211; 23:59 CET.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li>In order to upload your presentation through Conftool:\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>please log in to your account<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conftool.com\/cmbbe2025\/index.php?page=index\"> here<\/a>, and go to <em><strong>&#8220;Your submissions&#8221;<\/strong><\/em>. (This option is available for all contributions accepted as oral presentations.)<\/li>\n<li>Select the option <em><strong>&#8220;Final upload&#8221;<\/strong><\/em> and upload your presentation. The possible formats are ppt, pptx or pdf.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>required file name<\/strong> is the following: <strong>Session ID_Lastname<\/strong> <em>(ex.: A02_Lastname.ppt)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Please inform us if any problems occur during the process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Onsite presentations upload might cause delays in conference programme and is strictly reserved to necessary last minute updates (if necessary). Those updates can be done in the meeting room directly, but at the latest during the coffee break 2 hours prior to the start of your session.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-3fe01898 ); background-color: var( --e-global-color-1d4bd16 );\"><u>Technical requirements:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Slide format:<br>\u2013 MS PowerPoint, landscape format <br>\u2013&nbsp;<strong>16:9 HD<\/strong>&nbsp;presentations <strong>(<u>1080p<\/u>)<\/strong><br>\u2013 films embedded videos in power point for optimal compatibility (do not forget to embed your fonts and to bring your video files separately, as back-up solution)<\/li>\n<li>&nbsp;Please note that the use of personal laptops for presentation is <strong><u>not allowed<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is no required template for the presentation slides, so feel free to use your own.<u><\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>During the session<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Make sure to&nbsp;<strong>be present in the meeting room at least 10 minutes prior to the start of your session<\/strong>&nbsp;and let the chairperson know you are there. Please make sure to stay in your session from the beginning on to ensure smooth changes between the individual presentations.<\/li>\n<li>There will be assisting staff available in each lecture room if any problems occur.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-4882\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Poster presentations guidelines<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-4882\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-4882\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><p><strong><u>Practical information:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b><i>Poster presenters are asked to be present next to their posters during the poster presentation timeslots as indicated in the programme&nbsp;<\/i><\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><b><i>in order to answer the questions from the audience and from the Scientific committee (for evaluation purposes)<\/i><\/b><\/li>\n<li>each presenter should be ready to briefly present his poster and answer questions during the allocated session, <strong><em>beside this we encourage free individual discussions around posters<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>we also advise the presenters to be next to their posters during the coffee and lunch breaks, as some participants will walk in the poster area by themselves and might have questions to ask from the presenters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u> Set up &amp; dismantling of posters:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>You have to bring your printed paper poster to the venue. The measurements should be approximately A0 <u>portrait\/vertical orientation<\/u> (841 x 1189 mm).&nbsp;<\/strong>The poster should be easily readable from a distance of 2 meters.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><b>There is no required template for posters, feel free to use your own.<\/b><br>There are several printing companies close to the conference venue in the Poblenou area, we advise to agree with them on the A0 print prior to the conference. For easier orientation and organisational purposes,&nbsp;<strong data-start=\"664\" data-end=\"699\">poster numbers will be assigned<\/strong>. Please refer to your poster number to locate your designated poster space onsite (posters overview included location number will be available soon).&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>All posters will be located in Sala Aranyo and will be displayed for the whole period of the symposium.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Posters should be mounted on Tuesday September 2 between 1pm and 7pm or on Wednesday September 3, between 8am and 11am.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Posters should be removed <strong>on September 5<\/strong>,<b> after the lunch break.&nbsp;<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Please note that all posters not dismantled by 5pm will be removed and disposed by the congress staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-4883\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Chair guidelines<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-4883\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-4883\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><p><strong>The chairs of the oral sessions hold a key position in making the programme run as smoothly as possible.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>These guidelines are to help you before, during and after the session you are chairing.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Please arrive in the room of your session at least 10 minutes before it starts.<\/strong><\/li><li>1 student assistant will be present in the room, preparing name signs, water etc. and making sure that all presentations of the sessions are uploaded.<\/li><li>Please note that it is your responsibility to start the presentations according to the order in which they are saved in the session folders.\u00a0<\/li><li>\u00a0A student will make sure in advance that all devices and audio equipment operate as planned.\u00a0<\/li><li>Please prepare some possible questions for the presenters in case no one from the audience will ask a question.<\/li><li><strong>Discussion: <\/strong>Take charge of the discussion period. Recognize questions from the audience and allow each person who would like to do so to participate in the discussion. Ask the participant to introduce herself\/himself and to speak slowly into the microphone.<\/li><li>Please remind the speakers of the time limit of their presentation (according to the final CMBBE 2025 programme).<\/li><li>Each presenter has been informed to prepare a\u00a0<strong>presentation for maximum 15 minutes including Q&amp;A<\/strong>. The keynote lectures have been informed that their presentation should be planned for 20 minutes including Q&amp;A.<\/li><li><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Please do not exceed the time assigned for the session.<\/strong>\u00a0The programme is very tight, and it is important to avoid delays. \u00a0<\/li><li>You are kindly asked to switch between presentations by simply announcing the name of the next presenter and the title of the presentation.
