Presentation guidelines

Due to the current situation and potential travel restrictions that might come in place due to the 4th wave of COVID infections, it has been decided that the CMBBE 2021 Symposium will be a full virtual event.

  • The CMBBE conference program will be taking place according to the CET time zone.
  • All sessions will be pre-recorded and followed by live Q&A (either in a chat form or as a live session)
  • The duration of the presentation is 10 min for oral, 15 min for invited oral, and 25 min for the keynote lecture.
  • You are required to be available for Q&A at the time scheduled for your presentation. Please be informed that the final programme will be announced at the later stage
  • All presenters are required to pre-record their entire presentations in one video
  • You can record your presentation in Zoom or in PowerPoint. For more instruction on how to record in PowerPoint see here
  • All presentations should be in 16:9 (wide-screen) format.
  • Please use the CMBBE presentation template here
  • Ensure that your video recording is at most 100 MB. Please feel free to contact us in case you need assistance to compress the video file or for any other related matters.
  • Mp4 and other common video formats are acceptable
  • Please speak slowly and clearly, make sure there is no background noise, and that the audio quality is good.
  • Please use the following filename convention: [‘#abstract number _last name], e.g. 1_Jameson.pptx’
  • IMPORTANT: Presentations should be sent via WeTransfer to address: info@cmbbe-symposium.com before 16th August 2021
  • The poster session will include pre-recorded video presentations or/and a PDF poster presentation
  • You are required to be available for Q&A (chat format) at the time scheduled for your presentation. Please be informed that the final programme will be announced at a later stage.
  • For your poster presentation, you have 3 min, which cannot be exceeded.
  • All poster presenters are required to send a pdf file and/or a pre-recorded presentation Pdf-file:

    • All pre-recorded presentations should be in 16:9 (wide-screen) format.
    • We recommend having max. 5 slides for the presentation

    • Please speak slowly and clearly for the sake of non-native English speakers
